And while we may not like the idea, we know our kids will grow up, our faces will wrinkle and our elderly parents will pass away.
There are also changes we don’t expect.
The premature loss of a loved one. A sudden retrenchment. And the breakdown of a marriage. These events can leave us feeling overwhelmed, stressed and uncertain about the future.
Financial transition planning acknowledges that there are two sides to effective money management – the technical and the personal. A Certified Financial Transitionist® (CeFT®) combines expert financial advice and emotional support so you can manage personal change with confidence.
In short – a Financial Transitionist® puts the heart back into the finance industry so you get the holistic support you need when you need it most.
Using a technique called the ‘decision-free zone’, the decisions you need to make are organised by urgency. This gives you space to breathe and strategise for the future.
By focusing on the human side of financial planning, you will be empowered to deal with complex change at a time when you’re feeling your most vulnerable.
The way we think and act changes when our world is suddenly and irrevocably changed. A CeFT® understands the four stages of transition and has the tools and skills to help you work through any difficulties you’re facing.
Instead of being told what’s right for you, you’ll be able to test various scenarios and contemplate their outcomes. As a result, you’ll feel confident in your decisions and ability to make them.
You cannot become a CeFT® unless you are already qualified as a financial planner. The certification requires an additional year of in-depth study so you know you’re getting someone who really knows their stuff.
It’s a great opportunity to see if our approach is the right one for you.Book a call
